I purchased a dresser online, almost 3 months ago. When it arrived, it appeared to be in good condition, until I discovered one of the 6 drawers only opened partway.
I contacted the distributor who I purchased it from and they agreed to pick it up and send out a new one. The second dresser arrived about a week later, in worse condition than the first. Only two drawers opened fully. The other four drawers opened to various depths.
Again I contacted the distributor and explained the situation with the second dresser. The customer service person said he would "find out what's going on with these dressers and get back to me." After repeated attempts, I've had no response from this company, to either repair or replace the dresser(s).
I now have two not-quite functional dressers. I was charged for one. Can I sell the other one? Is there a legally specified time-period after which a delivered product is considered abandoned by the deliverer? Or can they charge me for it at a later date?
Thanks
