What is the name of your state? Pa
about landlords rights for my state, the reason I ask is because I am going through an eviction and the magistrate is using the sheriff's office and when I called to find out when the sheriff's office was going to serve the writ for possession they told me they had 90 days to serve it. I know I have read somewhere that the actual time to serve the writ was less then that.

The writ of possession is good for 90 days. It can be executed at any point within those 90 days. You urgently need to be looking for new housing.

Alright, execute the writ with the sheriff. As soon as they're able to do it, they will. Most sheriff's departments as a matter of policy do evictions on clement business days while the court is open and available to clear up any unexpected issues.
