THe following appears in ZONING code as to just ONE tiny tiny zone What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

"Residents of ABC -owned residence halls are required to park in ABC. parking areas."

THere are roughly 10 zones in city . CAll this zone 7

BTW there are about 300 residents and near zero lawful spaces in that zone 7

Does it mean a resident cannot park at any time in zone 1-6, 8-10 or what ?

ABC owns parking in zone 1 and 4 and in another town...Lots Which might be up to 3000' away, multiple blocks or streets away and not in that tiny zone. 6000' if you count lot in other town.

NO fooling, ABC wrote that portion of zoning code

What is ABC?

What "residence halls"? University or something else?

Do the cars of the residents have stickers specifying their zones?

I guess the solutions to an abominable lack of parking is to either give up your car or live where there is better parking.

Seems to me that you are a resident in Lafayette College owned student housing. It also seems to me that you must park in Lafayette College parking areas.

I'm not sure I understand your question...

Thanks I was trying to keep it simple . taken as literally worded Its a 3 part question

1. A resident of that two block area who parks anyplace else in town but for a college owned lot might be guilty of a zoning code violation?

2 A resident of that two block area who parks in "wrong" college owned lot has not violated zoning code but may be subject to college internal rules?

3. That language does not by itself alter any other code section which specifies where or how close parking or how much parking must be..it merely specifies who must own lot and precludes use of rented spaces to serve residents?
