Hi all,

I have a dispute with a company in Connecticut, but
I live a few miles over the border in Massachsetts.
Should I file in the court near the company or in my
home town?

Can I even do this?

Cheers,
Beaky

I am assuming you conducted business in Connecticut. In this case you should file in Connecticut. Normally try to file in the state where the defendant resides.

Yay, I get to use Halket's quote again...
"That way if/when you win, you have a judgment where
his assets are, so you can enforce the judgment."

Can you do this?
You should be able to. Unless Connecticut or Massachusetts has some odd law for which I am unaware.
