What is the name of your state? Nebraska

My friends custody order is out of Nebraska, he is being denied visitation and also would like to modify custody. He just needs to know where to file the paperwork at. The child and mother live in another state and he no longer lives in the county in NE. where the order is from, but still lives in Ne.

Thanks!

If jurisdiction has never been changed, he needs to file in the county where the original order is from.

As long as one parent still lives in the state and it has not been transferred, the Nebraska court still has original jurisdiction.
