Where do I go to get the name of the president of a small privately held corporation. Is there a directory or governmental source in the state of California I can access either by Internet or by phone? I live in another state.

My response:

Contact the Office of the Secretary of State in Sacramento, California. They will send you all filed documents for the corporation, for a small fee.
