Which date is used?

What is the name of your state?Indiana

I have a copy of my credit report from a few years ago. After the name of the creditor is has two dates... they range from just a few months apart to a few years apart. When figuring the SOL date which date is used? For example one says 5/99 5/2001. Does the SOL run out in 2006 or 2008?

May I recommend getting a Fresh copy of your credit reports from all three agency's and then re post here.

I do have a fresh one coming soon. I know there are some differences as I have bought a new car and I know of AT LEAST one that supposed to be removed and a judgement paid so that should say so. I was just going over this one that I got a little over a year ago and wondered about the dates.

Are you concerned with collections SOL or are you talking about the reporting period ??

I was just looking over the report and wondering when the SOL ran out and which date to use to know which is the oldest to newest.
