Having used my first and middle names (by birth) to identify me professionally as a composer/performer of my music since 1987 (provable since 1992) I recently discovered another composer/performer using the same two names (but the second one probably not his by birth) to identify himself professionally. I have not registered my name as an official mark. As far as I know, neither has he. Can we both continue using the names with impunity, or will one of us have to relinquish use of the name, depending on first professional use or some other criteria?
Thank you.
