Child concieved in Florida and was and been living in Washington State with mother since birth, which state decides on the amount of child support to be paid by ncp. Can I get the case moved to the state that the child resideds in now and how or where to start.

Okay, I'm reading fast so perhaps I'm not getting it...it doesn't matter where the child was made. If Washington is where the child is now (and has been for 6 months) then it would be Washington....are there other factors here? Is this the first support order?

If there are no current orders of any kind at this time, any new order would have to be begun in the state the CHILD has been a resident of for the past 6 months if the child is over 6 months. if not it is still where child resides now.

child support

Child support is standard. It doesn't matter what state you or the child live in. It is the same for everyone. This issue is addressed in the FAQ if you want to check it out.

no, child support guidelines are NOT standard, every state has different criteria, and any child support order must be begun in the state of the CHILDS actual residence.

If there is already a child support and/or custody order in place for this child in Fl. it will have to stay in Fl. unless the parent can successfully pettition it moved to Washington state, due to the change in residence, Even then the washington court will still pretty much uphold the florida guidelines already in place, unless there is an incredible change in circumstance. This is to protect the NCP and CP both from having one or the other moving around the country to find judges more to thier likeing.

okay the child has lived in Washignton state for 9 years. Never has the child lived since birth in Florida. Washignton entered a order to establish parentage but Florida is setting the amount of support to be paid not Washington where the child was born and has lived for 9 years. The Court order for support to be paid was done through Florida courts where the ncp lives not where the child lives. If anybody else has this problem of interstate support feel free to email me because this is wrong and it needs to change. It also seems that the ncp pays support for 6 months and payments stop for 6 months I dont get a break from raising my child. So then Florida has to be called to find out why and there has never been a change in circumstances on his end (ie.) new job, employer ect.)
