 What is the name of your state? Texas
Ok, 3/04/06 I saw a skin care item the was offered for free if you filled out a survey, but you had to pick two items. I picked one that was a tooth whitener free if you pay $3.95 shipping. So, I said ok and gave my information. I happen to check my online credit card statement and saw that they charged me the $3.95 and on 3/09/06 they charged me $106.54, I had not even received the sample, so I do not feel I should be charged or pay for anything I did not receive. I went back to the website and it states that once you agree to recieve the free sample you are signed up for 60 day auto-shipments with in 14 days, which I did not see originally. My question is how can I get out of this, I did not know I would be automaticaly charged and for something I haven't got. Can I send it all back if received or what. It's so now days you can't trust anyone to say what they mean, there's always a hidden way they are going to try to screw you out of money and you know everything goes up, except my paycheck.

Help!

You have difficulty reading instructions and forms. Don't order anything else. Call the company and try to get the charge taken off. Cut up your credit card.

Not a problem!

I don't plan on ever ordering any thing the says it's free and giving them a credit card number for postage again. I had never heard of Auto-ship, and thought a free sample meant that you would try before you buy. Guess I am pretty stupid and it may cost me. I already e-mailed them on Sunday as soon as the charge showed up on my statement. If we were all perfect this web site wouldn't be here.

Thanks!

Ok so...

I know this is an old thread but...Did you ever get your money back? I filed a fraud claim with my bank, Wells Fargo, so I might get my money back.

White Overnite Scam!!!

I know that this is a little old, but what ever came about with the money that was taken off of your card? My husband fell into the same trap, get the sample for $5.95 and be done. Wrong!!! We got charged a fee for $15.95 and another for $69.95 in the same day. I just sent a nasty email to them, thanks to you for the contact info, and I called and left a nasty message. What else can I do?

No the scammers live on

Actually this is still on going, I reported it to the card company as fraud (the no hassle card) and it was all hassle with several letters and affidavits. And I still don't have a final out come. But you need to fight these crooks with their crafty small print wording and this auto ship stuff, when it says "FREE pay postage only!" you shouldn't have to get a attorney or a magafining glass to find out all the details. And watch your back they are everywhere. I don't give my card no. for anything any more. Good Luck!:(

watch out for whiteovernight scam

I also was scammed by white over night. I also was trying the same deal, mine was to get a free labtop computer, dumb huh, and I only had to try a few new product that I only had to pay s&h on. Well one of them was white over night. It said only 5.95 s&h for a FREE sample. Next thing I know two days later 15.95 for another s&h and 69.95. I call them and they said another 79.95 was to come in 10 days. I had to close my account, get a 20.oo new card fee charged to me and dispute the charges. Who knows if I will get the money back. I recieved the rinky dink teeth whitening kit, which was the same thing I could have bought at the grocery store for 20.00. I immediately returned it which cost me even more money. When I called them to tell them I never ordered anything they were so rude. They told me I could cancel the transaction for a 30.00 restocking fee plus the 15.95 shipping and handling they had already charged me. So I ended up with no product, 15.95 s&h, 30.00 cancelation fee, and 20.00 for a new card. And maybe even the 69.95 that I am disputing. They told me if I disputed the charges they would send the 79.95 to collections and ruin my credit. This is such a scam, I did not order anything but they refused to listen to me. Someone needs to do something about this. Is there anything I can do when I know I did not order the item and they billed me anyway. I sent back their stuff but can they still charge me the restocking fee and s&h. Can I legaly report them to anyone? I am a single mom and a student who I broke I can't afford this kind of scam. I am so PISSED!
Thanks,
Pissed off
