I purchased a oceanfront home in may of 99. Last hurricane season I came home to 4inches of water thur the whole house.I did have a inspection done. The contractor I have hired has told me that the sellers must have been aware of the problem because it had been messed with many times with caulking and such there arent even any metal support beams installed from orignal construction the whole back of the house is windows and will be over 50,000.00 to replace. Do I have recourse? If so agianst the seller? the builder it was bulit in 1995.the city who did the inspections when it was built? who should I try if anyone? thanks debora
