we leased a home from a corporation under the pretense that they owned the home. agreed to lease for one year, then they would help us receive a mortgage. we lived in home for seven months and made all payments. we received a letter from an attorney for the real owners of the home that apparently leased the home to the company. our payments to the company have not been going towards the mortgage, the company has been pocketing the money. our next payment is due 3-1. who do i pay? the owner's of the home, or put money into an escrow account, if so, how do i set up an escrow account? state of florida.

You could go to your bank and ask them to set up an escrow account.

And then call a lawyer, looks like fraud
