Who is answering your questions (Please sticky this thread)

Accident - Bankruptcy - Criminal Law / DUI - Business - Consumer - Employment - Family - Immigration - Real Estate - Tax - Traffic - Wills   Please click a topic or scroll down for more.

I just thought that with the number of people posting answers to questions on this thread, and the (sometimes) heated debate amongst those answerers, it might be a good idea to have a thread like this. I propose that each member who is answering questions posted here or giving advice about debt, FDCPA, FCRA, etc should create one post with their qualifications and OP's can check here to see whether they feel comfortable trusting the advice given or if they want to wait till someone else answers.

Please do not post here unless you are going to be answering other people's questions. Please do not post anything revealing or unnecessary about yourself (real name, sex, employer, etc.).

Kirby loans -- Glad I've not had that pleasure.

I'll bite.

I have several years experience with the last three in management positions ranging from floor manager to ops manager and owning my own agency.

Prior to collections I owned several business and worked as a reporter and editor for Gannett and Scripts Howard.

Collections experience: I've collected on it all. From telecom to credit cards to B2B and more. I disliked leading a medical collections team the most and refuse to take on medical debt for my own agency. I have branched into judgment collections and built a nice portfolio there as well.

I've consulted with landlord organizations on credit policies for rental properties and consulted with other agencies on collector training and effective management procedures. My BS is in Journalism and I have an MBA. I am a member of the ACA and the NJN.
