What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Maryland

My mom died in Oct 2004, her will leaves her estate, including the house to the 3 children. She also specified that for 2 years my sister could live in the house and at the end of that time, it be sold and the proceeds be divided equally. My sister is now occupying the house.

Her homeowners insurance expired in Oct 2005. What type of new coverage should be purchased and in what name? I am the executor of her estate.

thanks for any assistance.

If her estate is still in probate, then it sure is taking a long time.

In any event, ask the insurance agent your question.

My guess is it's the three kids.
