What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Nevada, Last week had a gust of wind come through and pick up my neighbor’s trampoline out of their yard and came across the street and really damaged my car ($5,000). They said it was secured but there were other trampolines in the same area that did not move. Who is responsible for the damage? We have talked to their renter’s insurance company and they said it was an act of god and would not cover the damage. Please can I get some advice on the legal course I have on this issue.

You will have to sue the person.

As to if you win is uncertain. It is against your case the damage was caused by the wind. It is for your case that other trampolines did not.

The court will decide.
