What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY
If a tenant has animals who is responsible for the damage they might cause to someone else or someone elses property?
Would it need to be written in a rental agreement specifically?

Whether a tenant is month to month oral rental agreement , week by week, bi weekly or on a written fixed term lease a tenant is responsible for ALL pet damages created by pets they own and any pets who accompany the tenants visitors that occurs during their tenancy.

Is there a reason you think a landlord would have to have it written somewhere that damages your pet werewolf did are or are not your responsibility ? If your pet were wolf climbed on top of your landlords car and scratched the paint with its nails as it howled at the moon then bit into your LLs car tires and tore a chunk out of course your responsible >>> FarmerJ

And you would still be responsible if one of your family members were checking on the place while you were on vacation, bringing the mail in and laid a lit cig on the kitchen counter that had no damage to it and forgot it and it made a burn mark,
