I am a counselor in an elementary school in New Jersey. The district that I work called for proposals for grant funding, and I applied and was awarded some of the grant money. As part of the grant, I wrote a curriculum. Does the district own the curriculum or do I? If it is publish-able, who reaps financial benefits and credit? If it is the district, do I even own the concepts of the curriculum? is there anything I can create to compliment the curriculum that I will own? What protections are there for me? Thank you.
