While doing repairs the cntractor hired by the city dammages the sidewalk & curb,Causes house to shake and house develops cracks.Conractor drives over sidewalk. The city installs a handy cap and a gutter for the run off . Repairs the sidewalk and encroaches on the property .and sends me a bill for the repairs done.
Can they impose their whimsical tiranical will on me the owner.

Sure sounds as if you have a claim against the contractor and the city. But sometimes dealing with the SOBs is a hassle!
