What is the name of your state? s carolina
i own a lot on a golf course in s. carolina. i just received a letter from the property association saying that a "dead" tree from my lot fell on my neighbors house and damaged it. they said i should contact my insurance co...i have no insurance ..its a vacant lot. am i responsible in any way?
i live in a distant state but have the lot watched by my real estate salesman-
recently the home owners association asked all owners to clean their lots of debris- which my salesman took care of...we have an email from the association indicating compliance with this...if they are now saying the tree was dead shouldn't they have notified me....or does it matter??
