she has 7 (5 with him) and he has 3 from a previous relationship, so yes 10 total, but shes only worried about her 7.

AL is not a state that gives a credit for subsequent children so there is nothing you can do OP. The state views it as he knew he had this responsibility before he decided to have 5 more children that he obviously cannot afford.
