What is the name of your state? What is the name of your stateOh
My x and I had a car together when we spilt, the loan company would not remove one or the others name off the vehicle (bad relationship) In order never to have to see each other again we turned the car in by ourselves.
Now the loan company is comming after me even though i asked them to refiance the vehicle so we would not have to go through this. Any way they are coming after me because i signed first and then she did even though we both signed on the buyers line. What are my rights and is she not responsible for what was left???

So, what you are saying is that you both signed the loan, turned the car in (repossession), and now the car company is coming after you for repayment of the balance on the loan?

What are my rights and is she not responsible for what was left???
If you both signed, you are both responsible. However, the creditor does not have to come after both of you -- the creditor can come after one of you (apparently you in this case) and extract the entire amount owed. After that, it is up to you to sue your ex for her portion.
