OHIO. i rent from vip reality. in oct. and dec. of 2000 some kids busted out my side window. wel, the first time they paid for it. on jan. 17 2001 they sent me a bill for the last time they broke the window.
i called my ins. company and they say its there responsibility
there ins. company says its ours. which is it?

Welll.........it should be the responsibility of the apartment owners to protect you from unsafe conditions -- break ins, violence, etc in common areas. So...I say this falls into this category. I.e. your window is probably adjoining a common area, hallway, patio, etc.
