I submitted a topic titled "Accident caused by an un-licensed 16-year-old" on 17-Jul-00 and have not yet received an answer of any sort. Yet others posted afterwards have quick and numerous answers.

How come? (I did include the state.)

Actually some states do limit the liability of parents for the acts of their minor children. As these laws vary with each state, it would be wise to consult with a lawyer in your state to know the applicable law there.

Hello,

I'm not sure if cost is the reason you haven't consulted a private attorney yet, but if it is, you might want to know of a web site that contains information on No-or-Low-cost legal services.
Good luck in your legal battles.
