why if they want to settle

What is the name of your state?CT.
It's going on 3 yrs. I will never be able to do my job again because of work related injuries, because of finances am getting divorced, Am filing for bankrupcy (being represented by the same lawyer for all cases).They want to settle and no one seems to be in a hurry but me-why am I not getting weekly comp until case is settled? I don't get it.

Why do they want to settle?
Is there something your lawyer thinks isnt quit right?
Are they wanting to settle for to low a offer?
There could be alot of reasons why but do not rush into anything without checking it out because it can come back to bite you in the a-- later in life.
