My response:

Are you venting?

Have you already made up your mind?

Are there any reasons we could possibly give you that would change your mind set?

i am not venting and yes, if you could possibly tell me why my presence is required, that would be a start

I believe it’s because the accused has the right to face his/her accuser. He is still supposed to be innocent until proven…well, you know. As a violent rape victim (stabbed 7 times) I know it will be hard, it is very hard, but without you, they probably have nothing…Note also please that if you have a subpoena and don’t show, in some states, they can put out a bench warrant and you will be arrested. He has to pay for what he did Hon…you aren’t teaching him a dern thing if you don’t show and he gets off.

BE STRONG.
