What is the name of your state? Az

What is an order to seal documents and why is it done? The court calender reads as follows:

9/26/2005 SDO - Order to Seal Documents 11/30/2005
NOTE: PARENTING CONFERENCE REPORT DATED 9/22/05

Why would they seal the report from that conference?

A: Because there is something in there that the public has no business reading.

So can the records still be accessed by the plaintiff and the respondent?
Yes, but you may need a court order to get them. That means a lawyer and a hearing and all kinds of mess.

For example:

... After the Office of Vital Records amends the birth certificate, the original birth certificate shall be sealed along with the evidentiary documents (court order, adoption certificate) provided to amend the birth certificate. The sealed record cannot be opened unless a court order is received....
