What is the name of your state? California

I recently had a bedroom set delivered from Wickes Furniture. I wasn't present at the house, my wife was there to receive everything, and after the delivery people had come and gone we found out that her engagement ring was missing. The ring she had was a two-piece ring with an engagement ring and a wedding band kept in a ring box. Both pieces go together as one, but the engagement ring was stolen. I spoke with Wickes and they told me that there was no way this would happen because their drivers, even though privately contracted, were bonded. I filed a police report and recently found out that out of the father and son team that delivered my furniture, the son quit his job the day after this happened and the father is not helping the police with any info on his whereabouts. Do you have any advice as to whether I have any claim against Wickes Furniture at this point? Thanks.

Q: Do you have any advice as to whether I have any claim against Wickes Furniture at this point?

A: To answer that, we would have to know what evidence you have against them.

Just a suggestion here:

If/when you replace her ring/rings.....GET THEM INSURED.

I have receipts, appraisal info etc. but I have 0 evidence against Wickes.
Damn sorry...:( Like the above poster stated when you get the new set have them insured. And of course do another walk thru of the house.....they may turn up.

File the claim with your homeowners insurance.
