my wife works for a major grocery chain in virginia.well she came down with "crohns disease " a chronic condition on march 8 2001. well she was working at a store in virgina beach. she returned to work on april 26,2001. her managers boyfreind had no job ,so he stay at store every minute she work,harrassing customers and cashiers and me. the harrassment was constant,every time the manager work. i complained to tyhe store manager her boyfreind was up there all the time and harrassing me.that did no good as my manager was gonna to have him there when she worked. my wife and i complained to the area manager ,district manager , human resources and they did nothing.as this guy was really weird,but i had to put up with the harrassment ,whether iliked it or not. well instead of banning him from the store ,human resources tranfered me to another store,as iwas bookkeeper there ,at new store i became a office worker.all of this caused my wifes "chrons condition"to continously to flair up.can some one be forced to be subjected to constant harrassment in the work place?
i want to know can my wife sue this grocery chain for harrassmentor is it time limits on this .
