What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey.

My wife has been threatening with suicide, can this be considered as domestic violence.

Currently wife is in India and now she wants divorce and has all my savings.
I need to get her to USA and proceed legally if possible.

You cannot force her to the USA. This should be with your other thread. And no, this is NOT domestic violence.

The context where threats of suicide would fall under (emotional) abuse are along the lines of "If you leave me, I will kill myself." In the context of emotional abuse it is used as a method to control the victim and prevent (him/her) from leaving the relationship.

Your wife is not trying to hold you hostage in the relationship through threats of suicide. On the contrary, she has already left.

As OG already said quite clearly, this is NOT domestic violence.

I'm not seeing the problem here. She cheated on you and left the country with all of your savings. She wants to divorce you. If she wants to kill herself or threatens to in a manner that hurts you, why stop her? Gets her out of your hair and as next of kin, no doubt you get your money back. Cold? Yup. Poetic? Even more so. If someone was playing ME like that I'd be VERY careful about what I say in the event someone is trying to set you up. Like the fatherinlaw.
