What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

My wife is a leading agent for an apartment complex and her boss the apartment manager is changing the name on her leases in order to receive the commission. My wife showed the apartments and filled out the leases so the commission is rightfully hers.

Do we have any ground to stand on legally?
How should we proceed without my wife being fired?

there is always a risk the person being cheated gets reassigned to sweeping the parking lot.....then again her boss could be given the boot...no good crystal ball.

CHeated employee as to commissions earned under the agreement has two options...a wage complaint under the TX wage payment act for the wages ...OR a civil suit and seek attorney cost recovery as well ...sometimes attorney costs are the biggest nut ...ask a TX attorney who litigates wage payment claims about merits of your specific,case/facts .

PS not a we matter...it's up to her ?
