Wife's old jaywalking ticket

What is the name of your state? California!

My wife received a jaywalking ticket in 1998 that she did not pay. She would now like to take care of that, and can't seem to find any information about it.

She has lost the ticket.

She can't remember anything about the ticket other than it was for jaywalking and it was in the city of Los Angeles.

She has called the traffic office of LA County and they had no record.

But is that the right place to call? I checked the available websites and they do not have a "enter your name for outstanding jaywalking tickets" feature.

If anyone can help please do so.

Statute of limitations info?

Ability to get a driver's license?

Warrant?

Any tips or info would be most appreciated!!! :p :) :p :) :p

Take Care and Best to you all,
Joe

Have her apply for a driver's license and see what happens.

OR

Hire a lawyer to see if the lawyer can track this down.
