What is the name of your state?Connecticut. My wife and I met two years ago and married last year. About a year before I met her she dated a man for about one month and terminated their realtionship as she felt he was mentally unstable. During that month a photo was taken of them together. (Standing as a couple with his arm around her). Recently a co-worker of my wifes brought in that picture which she found displayed on a "dating/personel" service. My wifes co-worker was a little concerned as she knows us both. We did a little research and found that this gentleman is using that picture as one of his photo's on every personal dating service on the internet. The strategy behind this completly eludes me, but nevertheless it is upsetting to both of us. I feel that it is defamatory in nature as it presents my wife as being involved with another man and this has caused no small amount of consternation at work. Even though the picture predates our marriage by two years it is presently being used in a fashion that would lead a resonable person to believe otherwise. Also, it goes without saying that, my wife has not consented to this. I have notified the dating services of this misrepresantation and there is some red tape we have to go through to have that picture removed and it will take some time. Do I have a viable recourse against this man? The dating services? (for not having appropriate policy in force) Thanks
