Will I go to Jail?

okay I recently was arrested for shoplifting twice. i am 17. I havent been to either court date yet and I dont have a lawyer for either because i cant afford one. I know the first time i will not get jail time but is it pretty likely I'll get it the second time?

please help me.

Do you have parents? Grandparents? Friends? Do they have assets to help you hire a lawyer? Or if you can't afford one, and can't get anyone to lend you the money, ask for a court appointed lawyer. Many of them are excellent.
