For the past year, I have been purchasing items from cyberrebate.com, which just filed for bancrupcy. I have received many rebate checks from them with no problems. I have made many purchases in the past several months, with outstanding rebates totalling in value in the vicinity of $4000. Can I ever expect to see any of that money??? Please help me!! Should I plan on losing the entire amount??

Hi there, I'm in the same exact boat you are in with Cyberrebate. From what I am gathering from the various legal avenues I have pursued, we should be looking for a generalized class action law suit against cyberrebate. NPR was discussing the bankruptcy terms and noted there are many out there who had up to $30,000 invested in that company. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you are interested in figuring out a way for us to get our money back (even if it is only a partial sum of what we are still owed). Pass the word along and see if you get any other responses. Hope to hear from you soon.
