I moved from Germany to US and was wondering if I can build my FICO faster if transferring my german SCHUFA. Will this be done automatically or do I need to initiate a process?

No. Schufa has no relationship with the 3 main US organizations Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.
Also the system in the US works totally different.
Try to build credit here by using a credit card with a security deposit.
Also, American Express allows the "transfer" of a German Credit card to the US. So, get one in Germany and "transfer" it here.
