PLEASE HELP
i recently was pulled over for a broken headlight in MA and the police man could smell the marajuana which i had smoked in my car. he ask if i had been smoking pot and i anwered yes. he said that since i was honest he would not arrest me. however... he had to take me to the station because he couldnt let me drive home.
anyway... i have a court date concerning my headlight (which im not worried about) and possession (the small amount that i gave to the police man when he asked).
keeping in mind that i was not aressted, never read any rights or hand cuffed because i was honest, will i have to take a drug test for any reason?
THANX

Not until after you are convicted. Forcing you to submit to a drug test before conviction violates the 5th amendment. After you're on parole, the state can test you daily if it wants to.
