What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mississippi

Ok, so I'm a total idiot. I was driving husband's car (in my husband's name, both of us are under the insurance for the car, which my husband handles. I don't know much about insurance.) and I got a speeding ticket. 82 in a 65.

Then I was driving my car and, wouldn't you know it, speed trap! I got stopped and ticketed again. I feel so stupid. Let's just say I'll be going reeeeally slow from now on.

Anyway, here's my question. Since MY car is technically still in my dad's name and he pays the insurance on it (and it's registered in Alabama, not Mississippi), is the second ticket going to affect the insurance we have on the other car with my husband? The second ticket was today, and if there's no way for my husband to know about the second ticket, I'd just as soon not tell him. He's still pretty pissed about the first one. :(
