I have an ex-co worker who is saying that I have herpes and other sexually transmitted diseases. Can I sue her for Defamation of Charater?

OF COURSE you can. Hell, even I can sue the creatin for saying those things.

She has said to to former employees of the same place, mutual friends, guys who want to date me and just who ever knows me. What purpose???? Who the hell knows!! She's unhappily married left her husband and 3 kids and I guess cause I was better in bed she had to start something. An no I do not. I do have the medical records to prove it.

Their not believing me so I guess they have to believe her. I have a few friends that don't believe her and are trying to tell everyone else it's not true. So should I leave it alone or do something about it?

Did you lose your job? Did your husand/fiance/lover/dog run away and leave you because of these statments? Did you get kicked out of your apartment/home/shopping cart because of them?

If you cannot show damages, your chance of winning any sort of case is slim.

Defamation occurs when the defamatory falsehood is stated as fact to a third party. The plaintiff is not required to show that anyone believed the defamatory statements.

OP, it is no small thing to have someone spreading false information that you have a communicable disease. You may have a defamation claim. Whether or not it would be practical to pursue that claim is another matter.

How does she know you are better in bed? Did you sleep with her husband?
As for defamation, if you have no damages then you have no cause to sue.
