Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get out of paying termination fees after canceling a wireless contract. We were with a BIG wireless provider for over a year and not once did they ever get our billing correct. The biggest majority of the time they grossly over charged us by 100's of dollars. Most months we would have to call them complaining until they admitted their mistake and corrected the bill.

Considering that we had signed up for a specific plan, but then was charged accordingly to a different plan, would this not be a Breach of Contract on the wireless providers part?

Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me?

Was it Verizon? :D We have had a very similar problem with them and were advised to pay the fees because to get a lawyer and proceed would cost much more, and probably we would still have to pay the disconnect. Sorry! But, definantly contact an attorney with your questions....questions are usually free :D
