What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I reside in Texas, but have received a DUI in Wisconsin.

What can I expect to happen?

I researched the license compact and see that WI is not a member, which gives me a little hope. I have retained an attorney in WI to represent myself.

Thank you,

Stewart

What hope are you expecting?
You are being charged with a crime in Wisconsin. That's bad enough.
Your driving privs will be suspended in Wisconsin.

ALL STATEs participate in the NDR. Texas will hear of your DUI and suspension in Wisconsin. Not being part of the DLC means that Texas isn't obliged to act on violations from out of state, but it doesn't mean they won't.
This certainly can make renewing at least difficult in TX.
