In wisconsin is it possible to get a divorce and ask not to get anything, as far as property or money. I don't want anything of his. I just want out. We do have children, they would need to stay with him so they wouldn't have to switch schools and he would be better off financialy. I would still want to see them and have them on weekends and vacations. I don't want to abandon the children. Its just that I will never live up to what he wants, I can never do what is right, and always seem to screw things up.

My response:

Sure. If you don't want anything, there's no law that will force you to take what would otherwise be legally yours. Just keep in mind, once you make that decision, there's no going back.

Insofar as the children are concerned, again, there's no law that says you must have physical custody of the children - - as long as there's one parent that accepts that responsibility. If you want to be the Non-Custodial parent, that's up to you. Be aware that you'll be responsible for your share of child support. The court will undoubtedly order visitation that will satisfy your desires.
