What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland. I put down a large deposit on a new home. I lost my job and couldn't get a loan. The builder sold the home and refused to give me my earnest money back! The builder is D R HORTON HOMES INC.

Did your purchase contract have a financing contingency in it? If so, have you met the terms.
