I have been working as a C.N.A. for an Alzheimer's unit for over 6 months. I have been there longer than any one else. I was hired for the night shift specically. I was called into the office and given a two weeks notice in writing that I was going to be put on the day shift. I told the boss I can not work days. I still have to go to days. I am 52 yrs. old and I have been picked on since I started there. I have been yelled at by the administrator. On paydays i am called in the office and bawled out often. It is so bad that I don't even want to pick up my check. I have been accused of being rough with the patients, sleeping on duty, and told that no-one wants to work with me. The only person I have a problem working with is one of the bosses daughter. When the daughter is scheduled with me, she requests off and gets away with it. I don't know what the problem is with the daughter, but it is not fair to me. What can I do? Do I have a law suit? Please!, I need help!

In my opinion it is too hard to say based upon what you have written. You may or may not have more rights if you are employeed by a public employer versus a private health care provider. Please contact a labor lawyer near you for a consultation.
