I worked for my father in law for 2 years as president of his rest. corp. I left the company and resigned as pres. The papers were never filed and 2 years later he passed away. Leaving me as Pres. of the company because he never filed the resignation papers. There is now a workmans comp case against the company. The company had let the workmans comp inusrance lapse and were not covered. It is now going to trail and I am being named to represent the company. What are my options and what our the responsibilties of his 5 children. If I was not Pres of the corp. would this be his childrens responsibility?
