The Workers Compensation company that I am collecting benefits from wants to send a nurse along with me to my Doctors appointments. Do I have to allow them to enter the examination room with me for the scheduled appointment? I understand that I signed a form saying they get copies of all the medical records, but does this give them the right to be present at the Doctors appointments and hear the information first hand?

Check with a workers comp attorney in your state; laws do vary with each state in this area, but I am aware that in some states, at least, when a workers comp claim, the insurance co gains all sorts of rights that they not nec. have if in a regular personal injury claim. You would need to aks a workers comp lawyer inyour state to determine what are their rights their.
good luck!
