My mother injured her back at work over 14 years ago. She had surgery shortly after her accident and had to have another surgery 1 1/2 years ago. She now has to have surgery for a third time. Workers compensation has dragged their feet about approving her surgeries. They have required seemly unnecessary second opinions. Workers Comp. has not paid her doctors' bills on time, so she currently has several collection agencies calling her. Her injuries have caused her to lose at least 2 jobs. She is on disability right now waiting to have her next surgery. Is there anything she can do? She is only 45 years old and her life has been ruined. There is a lot more to this story but I am trying to be brief.
