I was employed by a "Christian" company. I was told I would NO longer be paid in money, that the owner had been led to pay me with blessings. Seriously! I left my job with notice, I collected unemployment, now the former employer has appealed it,(he deined everything) and I am required to pay back the state of Arkansas over $3,000. I truly believe I was let go because of my gender (female, at work thought to be subservant as I was told many times)and my religious beliefs (nothing wacko---just not the same church as the owners) Can the ACLU help? Or any advice out there????
