I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I HAVE DONE THE SAME PRFESSION FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS, BUT HAVE WORKED FOR A COMPANY, CAN THEY DO ANYTHING LEGALLY IF I BRANCH OUT AND DO A FORM OF WHAT I'M DOING NOW? ACTUALLY I'M A LICENSED NOTARY PUBLIC, I CLOSE MORTGAGE LOANS. THERE ARE LENDERS THAT REQUIRE ACCOMODATION CLOSERS. ONE THAT DOES NOT DO ALL THE PAPER WORK, ONLY CLOSES FOR THE LENDER, AND NOTORIZES THE SIGNATURES. I WOULD LIKE TO START MY OWN COMPANY FROM HOME DOING THESE CLOSINGS. I HAVE NOT SIGNED ANYTHING FOR THE COMPANY THAT I NOW WORK FOR STATING THAT I CANNOT DO A RELATED JOB. IN FACT MY EMPLOYER HAS TOLD THE CLOSERS THAT WE CAN DO THESE CLOSINGS ON OUR OWN, BUT SHE HAS ALWAYS KNOWN ABOUT THEM. I WOULD LIKE TO ADVERTISE ON A WEB PAGE MY SERVICES TO THESE LENDERS FROM A HOME BASE. CAN I LEGALLY DO THIS? I KNOW I'M PROBABLY NOT FILLING YOU IN AS MUCH AS I PROBALLY NEED TO BUT I'M TRYING TO KEEP IT SHORT. EVENTUALLY I WOULD LIKE TO QUIT MY JOB AND DEVOTE MY TIME TO A HOME BASED JOB.
