We had a workmanscomp premium that was outrageous last year. Lo and behold they have added monies they say were owed them because payroll was more than estimated. What is ridiculous is they already charged more than triple what our new insur. is charging. We will have paid them close to $6000. for a premium if we pay this additional money!! For goodness sake, we are a Coffee house. You would think we handled Nuclear waste with what they charged us!
They are threatening to sue if we don't pay them the balance. I am wondering what is their recourse? Also, doesn't any agency regulate what these companies can charge? Surely there must be some sort of watch group that we could at least report our dissatisfaction to?
