i believe that i have been libeled by a former client that was overseer on a jobsite that i supervised. we bid on a new job with a new client and i was to supervise this job. the former client also is also bidding on this job. we got word that we are on the short list if they remove me from being the supervisor listed. the former client had made comments on me. i did my job, checked any actions i took with management. i didn't always agree with what the clients wanted, but that was not my job. i was to go by the contract we had and they didn't agree with some of the change orders. this libel is blackballing me from an important job client and hurting my reputation in my job field which is based on reputation. would i have a case against them?
